Walk, jog or run your way through one of 2 night-time illumination events and light up a life with Sobell House Hospice.
This unmissable fundraising series is open to all abilities and is best enjoyed with friends and family.
Founded in 1976, Sobell House was one of the earliest NHS hospices to be established, following in the footsteps of Dame Cicely Saunders, considered by many to be the founder of the modern hospice movement in the UK.
We have a team of specialist doctors, nurses, therapists, pharmacists, social workers, chaplains, support staff, and volunteers. They help deliver palliative care, specialist advice, and support to patients, their families and close friends. Our team work in the purpose-built hospice in Oxford, in the hospitals, and in patient’s homes.
Sobell House’s mission is to enrich the lives of our patients and those who love and care for them in the communities in which we operate across Oxfordshire.
Our vision is for an Oxfordshire where high-quality end of life care is available to all those who need it, wherever they are, and for their relatives to have access to help during the patient’s life and to have the help they need to adapt to their loss and go on with their lives.
